Scrubbers / Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems

The deadline for complying with the impending sulphur cap is January 1st, 2020. Under one year away and a decision ultimately must be made.

With uncertainties regarding fuel prices and availability it is prudent to analyse your options and many of our clients have decided to opt for closed or open loop scrubbers. Using these exhaust gas cleaning systems means that you can continue to purchase HSFO as you always have done and still fully comply with the upcoming regulations.

Impact

The shipping industry produces a large impact on global pollution levels and so we must work together to reduce the negative consequences of the fuel that we burn. The race to renewable energy is out beaten by our consumption and so we must find a way to make use of our current reserve but render it less harmful to the environment. Our teams achieve this by installing exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubbers) to your vessel.
