CTS Offshore and Marine received an enquiry to carry out urgent steel repairs on a vessel’s damaged cargo tanks at Singapore.
The vessel was inspected and a plan was submitted within a day’s notice. The execution plan took into account the restriction of hot work permit availability of only 4 days by Singapore Port Authorities and the requirements to complete to the satisfaction of CLASS. Time was of the essence for the vessel to meet the next Lay-Can.
