Project Brief
The MV Discovery is a 350 cabin cruise vessel with capacity for about 700 passengers. It operates in the northern hemisphere including the Baltic and Mediterranean during the British spring and summertime and the Southern hemisphere during the autumn and winter.
The challenge was for CTS’s skilled painters and decorators to achieve the highest standards in quality of workmanship to paint and fit out the ship’s luxurious interior.
Scope of Work
In early 2010, CTS provided a squad of 40 skilled decorators and painters to carefully paint and fit out the cabins of MV Discovery in preparation of the coming season’s guests. The project was carried out at the Union Navale yard in Barcelona and completed within a month. Being a luxury cruise liner, quality of workmanship was our highest priority on this project.

Results
Our skilled painters and decorators meticulous attention to detail ensured that the beautiful interiors of MV Discovery’s cabins were restored. The work was completed in time for the arrival of the discerning passengers, and the standard of work exceeded their expectations. We completed the job while the vessel was afloat in half the time it would have taken a competitor to complete the work in dry dock, saving All Leisure Holidays around 30 days’ worth of valuable trading time.
