Project Brief

Omni Offshore Terminals is the leading provider of FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading) solutions to the offshore oil and gas industry.

In late 2015, they called for an alternative approach to staging/ scaffoldings /rafting for the inspection of their cargo oil tanks and ballast tanks. They required this project to be executed in a limited period of time and in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Scope of Work

CTS provided an innovative turn-key solution and chose UTM inspection using Rope Access (RA) technique. The use of this alternative access solution allowed us to achieve safe work on hard-to-reach locations, to deliver the project quickly and cost effectively.

CTS provided UTM service for inspecting all the cargo oil tanks and ballast tanks using in house Rope Access technicians.
