Project Brief

Serco, an international service company, contracted CTS Offshore and Marine Limited to perform complete upgradation of their Machinery Control & Monitoring System.

CTS conducted a thorough review of the vessels existing system and were able to provide client with recommendation of PRAXIS system, which not only was a reliable system but also in-line with the client fleet.

Scope of Work

Initial site survey was done to determine specific data of all monitoring and alarm signals. This data was sent to PRAXIS for custom building of the new modules. The solution was delivered on a turnkey basis with survey, custom-module production, installation and testing.

Results

The project was concluded safely despite challenges of an erratic functional system without proper availability of drawings with the vessel. We were able to also custom built the speed sensors for the client which makers were unable to give viable solutions. The work had to be carried out around the strict schedule of the tug’s duties with minimal downtime.

Client Feedback

Clients were very happy as the system was erratic and non-reliable for a long time and we were able to deliver custom solution for their needs IN-TIME and with ZERO incidents.
