Project Brief
CTS Offshore and Marine was called on by the client to provide a highly capable professional team and equipment to assist their class annual boiler surveys.
The scope of work varied as per the condition & CLASS Surveyors demand in limited vessel stay at Fujairah Anchorage.
Scope of Work
• Boiler Survey Team
CTS arranged a skilled member team of experienced boiler technicians to attend the vessel and assist with Boiler survey.
CTS Team carried out overhaul of Aux. boiler & economizer mounting valves, hand holes & manholes.
The Safety valves overhaul and test were carried out on-board using the CTS Supplied testing kit.
• Spares & Equipment Supply
CTS arranged portable valve testing kit. Bonnet gaskets for all valve, metal gaskets for hand hole & manhole doors and safety valves were also provided by CTS.
Non-standard metal gaskets were fabricated and were supplied.
Project Gallery
Results
The hand selected CTS team achieved timely completion by providing experienced personnel and arranging required gaskets quickly. All surveys were witnessed by CLASS.
It took CTS teams only 4 days to complete all four boilers. Time saving for client as safety valves were tested on-board and cost-saving due to reduced launch services and Class attendances.
