CTS was contacted by a shipping and maritime group to fabricate and install a BWT system for one of their container ships. A 9 person team of skilled fitters and electricians were dispatched to carry out the piping installations and cabling work on board during the vessel’s voyage to prevent downtime. A 3-D scan was taken of the space allocated to the BWT system and a model was prepared to evaluate the current layout of the area in order to design the BWTS. The pipes were prefabricated, and hot dip galvanized as a longlasting, cost-effective solution to help prevent corrosion.

  •  3-D Scanning, design and engineering
  •  Prefabrication and fitting of piping foundation and supports
  • Supply of cables and installation of electrical works
  • Installation of Alfa Laval PureBallast Compact Type 600 Flex
