Project Brief

Anglo Eastern Group, the leading and independent provider of ship management services to ship owners around the world, invited CTS Offshore and Marine to identify and provide an effective solution for the worn out AC units cooling the rider cabin. It was observed that the heavy lift vessel encountered extreme weather conditions which had caused wear down of the AC units.

CTS evaluated the heat-load with respect to weather conditions encountered and presented client with suitable VRV system and work plan to ensure minimum downtime for complete installation, commissioning and testing.

Scope of Work

CTS scope was to select, supply, install and commission the VRV units. Equipment supply and team of 6 was mobilised at short notice. Our well experienced team led by our skilled HVAC engineer carried out below jobs in safe and efficient manner to finish within the time frame of 5 days.

  • Fabrication and installation of foundation frame for the AC unit,
  • Installation of DAIKIN VRV AC system with HEAT PUMP RMXS48LVJU + 5 INDOOR UNITS,
  • Run the copper piping from the indoor unit to the outdoor units,
  • Penetration for copper piping and cables,
  • Control cable from outdoor to indoor,
  • Supply and installation of 7.5kVa transformer with IP 55 casing with isolator switch and related cables and termination.
